Art Exhibits

Maxwell Library offers local artists, amateur or professional, the opportunity to hold a free, month-long exhibition in our Community Room. Our space can accommodate wall art (paintings, prints, fabric art, small wall sculptures), approximately 10-20 pieces, if they have wire attached on the back for hanging on our Walker bracket system. Photographers may also work with us to create a slide show of their images for continuous playback on our large-screen TV. While no sales transactions can be made by library staff, artists are encouraged to provide visitors the opportunity to purchase works through their studios. Opening receptions, meet-and-greets, and presentations on the artist’s methods may also be arranged. For more information and to discuss a future exhibit, please email Rena Brower at rena@maxwellmemoriallibrary.org. Thank you.
