Join Matt Kosty, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited, and learn how to create a winter refuge for backyard birds. By offering proper habitat and nutrition, you can help backyard birds survive the harsh winters in Central New York. In this fun and educational program, you will:
- Learn about the effects of winter weather and lack of sunlight and the impact to our native species
- Learn specific strategies to attract more birds during the winter months
- Learn what “seasonally savvy” means and how it can help to attract a wider variety of species
- Learn the definition of a foundational feeder and its vital role
- Spread the joy of bird feeding!
