Just Desserts Art Guild

Guild member Christine Patsos shares this background information on the Just Desserts Art Guild:
This group began in George Benedict’s home studio on Onondaga Hill and is now nearly three decades old. When George passed away in 2010 a number of us decided to keep the group going.
Though originally we had met once a week, those of us who were able to host decided that once a month was all we could manage. The pandemic shut us down for a couple of years, but we have been back at it for slightly over a year.
Artists learn from each other when they work side-by-side. After we draw for three hours, we have tea and dessert which is how we became the Just Desserts Art Guild, a tradition started by our founder, George and his wife Ruth Ann.
