October 2022
Dear Supporter of Maxwell Memorial Library,
As we enter the homestretch of 2022, Maxwell Memorial Library continues to expand our programming, collections and digital access to better serve YOU – and all our patrons of all ages. Our goal is to be the first place our community members come to find good books, locate accurate information, continue learning new things, access technology and discover unique programming for all ages – all in a friendly and welcoming space. We hope you have stopped by to see what is new at your community library!
This spring, Maxwell was fortunate to welcome Jennifer Burke, our new Director. Jenny comes to us with a wealth of experience and library expertise gained throughout her career as a children’s librarian, a leader in the New York Library Association and through her extensive specialized education. She joins a dedicated, talented group of staff members who provide integral services for everyone, from toddlers to elders. Whether it is providing access at home to the Kanopy streaming service, screening movies in the community room, giving individualized technology help, opening summer reading programs for kids, teens and adults, offering assistance with Medicare forms or holding lively discussion times for book lovers, Maxwell strives to deliver a wide variety of services and programs.
Your gift to the Annual Appeal enables Maxwell to continually meet the ever-changing needs of the community in providing innovative programs and services, as well as access to high-quality library materials. Please consider supporting the library during our Annual Appeal. It is through the generous support of our dedicated community that we can offer the best library services and programs. Your donation is tax deductible. Visit www.maxwellmemoriallibrary.org to give online securely or complete the form below and mail it with your check to the address shown.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support. Your gift ensures that our library can continue to grow with you now and for generations to come.
Sincerely,
The Maxwell Memorial Library Board of Trustees
