OCPL Digital Resources Survey

Onondaga County Public Libraries’ eContent Committee is conducting a patron survey to obtain feedback about the digital resources that OCPL offers. The survey asks you to consider which resources you’ve used, your general experiences with the resources, and your thoughts about what resources you could potentially need that OCPL does not currently offer.

This survey, along with the member survey conducted last fall, will assist the committee as it reviews resources and plans training events for the year.

Broadband Internet

The New York State Department of Public Service is conducting a study of broadband internet access in New York. One part of their data gathering for the study involves a short survey (takes less than 10 minutes) regarding how people use (or wish they could use) broadband services in the home, at work, and in the community. Along with the survey, you can also run an optional broadband speed test. The URL is https://www.empirestatebroadband.com/

Database survey

Do you use any of the databases that Onondaga County Public Libraries makes available to all patrons? OCPL will be conducting a survey about the databases from September 13 through September 30 and would like to get feedback from all who use them.

2020 Strategic Plan

The Board of Trustees is updating the strategic plan for the library. One part of that process is to get input from our patrons about the library and its role in the larger Camillus community.

With that in mind, we’ve posted an online survey form that you can fill out to submit your views and ideas. Please submit your form by Saturday, August 15 so that the Board will have your response in time for its August meeting.
