Making Meditation Easy

Join us in person at Maxwell Library to learn simple ways to bring meditation and mindfulness into your daily life. These monthly workshops for adults ages 18 and up will be led by Renee Goot, a local Yoga Therapist and Meditation teacher and owner of Syracuse Therapeutic Yoga LLC.

Meditation can support:

  • Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
  • Building skills to manage your stress
  • Increasing self-awareness
  • Focusing on the present
  • Increasing imagination and creativity
  • Increasing patience and tolerance
  • Lowering resting heart rate
  • Lowering resting blood pressure
  • Improving sleep quality
