This month, Maxwell Reads joins with Alan NaPier of CNY Reads to discuss Elizabeth Letts’s Finding Dorothy, a novel of historical fiction based on the life of Maud Gage. The Zoom discussion is open to anyone who has read the book or is interested in its themes.
The Central New York Reads One Book (CNY Reads) program, launched in 2001, is a reading initiative designed to build community through reading. Each year, a single book is designated the CNY Reads title, and the public is encouraged to read it and participate in programs related to the book and its themes.
For more information on CNY Reads, Elizabeth Letts, and Finding Dorothy, go to CNY Reads’ website.
Borrow the book through OCPL or OverDrive in print, large print, audio, ebook, or eaudio, and read it by our meeting. We will try to reserve a few print copies at Maxwell, but system demand is high. Call to see if one is available for you to check out on your library account.
OCPL has provided simultaneous use copies on OverDrive, so we recommend you read this digitally. Patrons will have access to the ebook any time between January 1 and March 31.
You will need a smartphone, tablet, or computer to participate.
