Did you sign up to Adopt a Succulent Plant? If you did, come and pick up your succulent plant on Monday, August 26 between 5:00 & 7:00 PM. Along with your succulent plant, you will receive care instructions and learn about the importance of having house plants.

This is a youth-led project by and for kids made possible through a Neighborhood Forest and ChangeX Partnership.

Registration opens Monday, July 15 and continues through Wednesday, August 21 or until all plants are adopted (whichever comes first)

Spaces are limited. Participants must be 18 or younger to register.

Succulents not picked up at the event on Monday, August 26th will be forfeited.

Spring means it’s time for planting new plants!

Get out your favorite markers or paint and decorate a ceramic plant pot!

You will also receive some potting soil and a plant to put in your pot!

Learn How to Grow Microgreens

What are microgreens, why are they becoming so popular, and should you start using them? This virtual workshop will give you answers to these questions and show you how to grow microgreens right in your own home. Learn which microgreens you should grow, where to grow them, how to care for them, how to harvest fresh microgreens everyday, and how to use them in food preparation.

The kit used in the demonstration will be available by request after the workshop at a discounted cost of $10.00. The kit includes all the equipment and supplies necessary to plant and grow your own tray of microgreens at home. Kits are limited to the first 20 participants who request them; one per family, please. Purchase is not mandatory to watch the presentation. Please provide your phone number, as you will be called to arrange payment and pickup.
