What are microgreens, why are they becoming so popular, and should you start using them? This virtual workshop will give you answers to these questions and show you how to grow microgreens right in your own home. Learn which microgreens you should grow, where to grow them, how to care for them, how to harvest fresh microgreens everyday, and how to use them in food preparation.

The kit used in the demonstration will be available by request after the workshop at a discounted cost of $10.00. The kit includes all the equipment and supplies necessary to plant and grow your own tray of microgreens at home. Kits are limited to the first 20 participants who request them; one per family, please. Purchase is not mandatory to watch the presentation. To request a kit, email Maxwell Library at maxmemlib@yahoo.com or call the library at 315-672-3661 by noon on Monday, November 30. Please provide your phone number, as you will be called to arrange payment and pickup.

Free. Registration is required. You will need a computer, tablet, or smartphone to attend this Zoom event.
