Summer is getting close!

Maxwell & Fairmount’s Summer Reading Program will start July 1

Summer reading

As usual, our Summer Reading Program (this year a cooperative program with Fairmount) will start July 1. The theme this year is Tails and Tales.

Each 20 minutes spent reading earns a ticket in the end-of-summer prize drawings. You can register for the program (and keep track of your reading) at READsquared.

Also, we are again able to present Wild Wednesdays—fun programs for the entire family each Wednesday evening! Though we can’t have programs in the library building itself, Melissa has arranged to use Munro Park down the street from the library as a venue.

The lineup of programs features favorites

  • Dan the Snakeman
  • The Great and Powerful Dave (formerly Moreland the Magician)
  • Jeff the Magic Man

and more.

For more information, visit our READsquared page, call us at 315-672-3661, or email Melissa at youthservices@maxwellmemoriallibrary.org.
